The direct horizontal centrifugal pumps with reverse suction, model EPO-ID are specifically designed for transferring highly abrasive liquids such as: ceramic slips, glazes, dirty water with suspended solids, slurries, sand, grit, marble cutting chips, wastewater from steel plants, acids, etc.
The seals are housed in a sealed chamber with oil bath or water flushing, made of tungsten carbide for long service life.
Having lateral suction, the seals are always maintained under vacuum extending their service life. This type of pump can also operate above the liquid level when properly primed.
The indirect drive allows you to choose the pump speed to better define the operating curve. In this configuration standardized electric motors are used.
The robust mounting base is constructed from press-bent stainless steel sheet.
The internal drive shaft is coated with a hard chrome overlay.
The casings and impellers are coated with special anti-abrasive rubber compounds or constructed with hard materials (hardalloy).
The open-type impellers allow the passage of suspended solids even of large dimensions (consult our technical office for clarification).
