VAR Vertical Centrifugal Tanked Electric Pump

The vertical tanked centrifugal pumps, model VAR, are specifically designed for gravity transfer of highly abrasive liquids such as: ceramic slips, glazes, dirty water with suspended solids, slurries, sand, grit, marble cutting chips, wastewater from steel plants, acids, etc.

Having no mechanical seals, these pumps can operate even without liquid present.
With gravity feed, these pumps are ideal for mounting at sieve outlets, mill discharge points, and all applications where the liquid to be pumped does not arrive consistently.

The tank is constructed from press-bent AISI 304 stainless steel sheet and can be mounted on wheels or fixed according to customer requirements. Tank dimensions can vary upon request.
Upon request, versions with shaft guide support and UNI motor are available, also with belt transmission.

The casings and impellers are coated with special anti-abrasive rubber compounds or constructed with hard materials (hardalloy).
The open-type impellers allow passage of suspended solids even of large dimensions (consult our technical office for clarification).
