The EPO-FD model direct horizontal centrifugal pumps are specifically designed for transferring highly abrasive liquids such as: ceramic slips, glazes, dirty water with suspended solids, slurries, sand, grit, chips from marble cutting, wastewater from steel plants, acids, etc.
The seals are housed in a sealed chamber with oil bath or water flushing, made of tungsten carbide for long service life.
With front suction, this pump type is the most compact in our product range. It can also operate above the liquid level when properly installed.
The open-type impellers allow passage of suspended solids even of large dimensions (consult our technical office for clarification).
The casings and impellers are coated with special anti-abrasive rubber compounds or manufactured with hard materials (hardalloy).
