The EPV-FT and EPV-FG vertical centrifugal electric pumps are specifically designed for transferring highly abrasive liquids such as: ceramic slips, glazes, dirty water with suspended solids, slurry, sand, grit, marble cutting chips, wastewater from steel plants, acids, etc…
The motor is of standardized type (UNI) and is available in all configurations currently available on the market.
The open-type impellers allow the passage of suspended solids even of large dimensions (consult our technical office for clarification).
The casings and impellers are coated with special anti-abrasive rubber compounds or constructed with hard materials (hardalloy).
The EPV-T pump uses indirect transmission via V-belts and provides the possibility to choose the pump speed to better define the operating curve.
The EPV-G pump uses direct transmission, and the guide support is coupled to the motor by means of a flexible star coupling.
Both pumps must be positioned with the motor above the liquid level being pumped.
