Operation
The movement of a nutating screen is comparable to manual sieving similar to that performed by a “gold prospector”.
The product is fed continuously into the centre of the screen and spreads out evenly over the screening surface.
The fine particles pass through the centre of the screen, while the larger ones are discarded by a spiral movement towards the periphery, which increases their acceleration.
All fractions are evacuated through lateral outlets.
This screening process is repeated for each particle size fraction.
