DIRECT DRIVE EPO-ID

The direct horizontal centrifugal pumps with reverse suction, model EPO-ID, are specifically designed for transferring highly abrasive liquids such as: ceramic slips, glazes, dirty water with suspended solids, slurries, sand, grit, marble cutting chips, wastewater from steel plants, etc.

The seals are housed in a sealed chamber with oil bath or water flushing, made of tungsten carbide for long service life.

Having lateral suction, the seals are always maintained under vacuum, extending their service life. This type of pump can also operate above the liquid level when properly installed.

The open-type impellers allow the passage of suspended solids even of large dimensions (consult our technical office for clarification).
The casings and impellers are coated with special anti-abrasive rubber compounds or manufactured in hard materials (hardalloy).
